GLOOMY DAY/ SUNNY MOOD

Disfrutenlas!! :)

Happy Sunday to all of you guys!!! I hope you had a good day of rest and that you have enjoyed it as much as I did. I woke up early and chatted a bit with @Suziesparks (more than my friend, my sister). Then I got dressed and all of us went for a spin so we can get to know our area a bit better, we live in Laguna Beach. We walked around various hotels, I saw five Ferrari's FIVE WTF?, and then we finished the afternoon having a huge hamburger at The Cheesecake Factory. I walked by a Forever 21 and obviously my mom and I went in as shopaholics as we are. I ended up buying a few winter hats and some bracelets. The rest of the afternoon I decided to come home and write this and as soon as I post it I will watch the last season of The Tudors and The Kennedy's.

Here are some pics of today, taken by my favorite photographer....my husband @savyfontana. Enjoy!

NUEVA CASA, NUEVA VIDA

Hi, happy Saturday! At this moment I'm moving to a new house and I'm literally with a foot in the other one and a foot here. This weekend is labor day here and I'm taking advantage of it so I can move furniture to the new place, outside of L.A. These last three months have brought such extreme changes that there are moments in which I don't understand what is happening in my life, but from being in a very sad, sick and defeated state...everything changed to a super clear and positive view. The trip I recently did to Venezuela made me reflect a lot on what was happening and I came back as recharged as ever! I realized that the most important thing, regardless of the country I'm living in, is that I should do what I'm passionate about, to stop working just to make money because my happiness is more valuable than anything else and where there is health and love, the rest is easy to find.

Today I spent the day sunbathing in the garden, I took Lili to the groomers and then I got dressed and ready to go to dinner with my hubbie and mom, she will be staying here until the 19th. As if it doesn't show, I'm crazy about animal print and maxi skirts at the moment, in the last three days I've spent all my salary in clothes and shoes... I hope my husband doesn't check the blog cause he really doesn't need to find out...

This is what I put on :)

A WALK IN THE PARK

My day started with taking Lili to the park, after that I went to downtown L.A. with my mom (she is visiting). I'm suppose to control my spending but I ended up buying: two maxi skirts, one black one striped, a short flowy skirt with train, three rings, two see through blouses, a lot of gorgeous socks, two pairs of shoes, a blouse/dress and three hats. OUCH! Buut the consolation is that I really needed outfits to go out and I wanted something more risky for autumn/winter. My moto is, why spend tons of money on one piece of designer clothes when with that money you can buy 15 whatever brand pieces. The important thing is not that the piece is designer, but that it looks like IT IS... on you.
